One of my favorite milestones in raising young puppers is their first trip out into our backyard.  Up to this point, they have only ever felt tarp or pool plastic under their feet.  Because of that fact, the pups always go a bit crazy of this fun new thing called “grass”. They fight it, try to eat it, and mostly just enjoy the heck of being in it while hanging outside in the warm sun.

Of course, I caught it all on video for you guys and gals! They just finished eating so they all look like they are going to pop, which ups the cute factor by an order of magnitude in my opinion!

    • I’m with you! The tails always get me because I imagine how fast and excited their little brains must be 🙂

  1. Omg – They are adorable. We just put in an application to adopt a dog ourselves and are so anxious to find out when we get to bring him home. You just gave me puppy fever. <3

    • That’s so awesome! We’ve managed to get some experience under our belts with bringing new dogs into our home, so if you have any questions, concerns, or anything like that, please don’t hesitate to contact us!

      • Thank you so much. 🙂 That means the world. We got the “tentative approval” and are now waiting for his foster mommy to contact us for the meet and greet where she will decide for sure. I’ve never been so nervous about meeting anyone in my life. Lol.

  2. oh my goodness, i cannot handle the cuteness!!! I need all of them to be playing next to me right now! :'(

    • I, in all seriousness, will just hop in their pool with them whenever I’m feeling down…instant happy!

  3. OMD, the cuteness is off the charts! They are having so much fun!

  4. OMD they are so cute, I would love to be able to foster but cannot where I live 🙁

    • ah that’s unfortunate! There are plenty of ways to still give back to dog’s that need it though, and knowing you, you probably do them all!

  5. OMG, they got so big!! Absolutely adorable, hope they all find loving homes soon.

    • We still have about 3 weeks until they are ready for adoption, but puppies never seem to have much problem in that area.

  6. OMD ~ they’re adorable. Thanks for fostering and preparing them for their forever homes.

    • It’s our pleasure, especially at this age, all the cuteness makes up for all the poop! 😛

  7. Oh, I have puppy fever now! Talk about cuties! Love puppy bellies! That’s so wonderful that you are fostering them! And what a great lesson for children, too. Just awesome.

    • I often reflect on how much all these foster dogs have taught our little one. Especially being an only child, how to “be” around others isn’t always second nature, but she has learned so much from them, I’m truly grateful!

  8. Cuteness overload!! They certainly enjoyed their first venture outside. They seem to be doing great with socialization too, so friendly. I hope they all end up in great homes with responsible owners! How many more weeks before they go up for adoption?

Also, I love how involved your daughter is in raising your fosters. So many great lessons being learned!

  12. How cute are these puppies!!! It’s great that they are coming along so well. They are getting chubby. 🙂 From those tails, it looks like they are loving their new found grass too. I hope it stays nice and warm for you so they can keep checking it out! It’s already snowing here.
