Blogging about rescuing, fostering, and just plain loving, Dogs
It’s so fulfilling to see a pup, like Gandhi, with a ton fear-reactivity, work through that stuff right before my eyes. I have a vivid memory of the look of terror in his eyes as he bared teeth, snarled, and lunged at D-mans head(Dmitri reached over the “buffer” xpen to smell Gandhi’s kennel). I, also, remember thinking it was odd for such a youngin to behave like that(before I saw his neck cuts). Now, with some love and guidance, I trust him with all the dogs and the kittens(although he’s a smidge too rough with my sweet, fragile, innocent Luna).
