I had the arduous task of clean-up after being benched with a gnarly stomach flu for the last week. In order to accomplish this goal, it required me to figure out something to do with the Christmas pups while I got into it.
As per usual, my first thought is to let my 4 girls, the little lady, Boo, Cece, and Coral, take them outside and have some fun. Sully has to stay inside during these play sessions because, although he is only three, he is a crotchety old man who doesn’t like puppies!
It’s such a cool thing for these pups to be able to experience our dogs like this:
It gives them such a head start in socialization and confidence!
As you can see, my girls can get a little rough sometimes, but they will also stop on a dime if a puppy gives out a yelp. So rather than over-manage them, I allow a little more roughness than some other folks would. This is a direct result of my experience. Both my dogs and the puppies are learning about how to interact with one another and, although, my dogs have helped raise around a dozen foster litters so far, they are still constantly learning too!
This whole video put a big smile on my face, so I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
